Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption policy

The Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption policy embodies our Company’s dedication to fostering a corporate culture founded on honesty, integrity, and fairness, along with adherence to the principles of legality, impartiality, and transparency, as well as compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and standards. It serves as the guiding document that harmonises, encapsulates, and implements the principles, paradigms, and organisational and operating measures established by our Company. Its primary objective is to ensure a steadfast dedication to fostering a corporate culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and fairness, while also preventing any manifestation of corruption in our operations.

Application and updates
The Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption policy applies to all companies within the Group over which 2i Rete Gas S.p.A. exercises control. Endorsed by our company’s Board of Directors in March 2021, this policy underwent revision in March 2023 to assimilate advancements in existing measures and to introduce new procedural and organisational measures. These adjustments aim to regulate the company’s operations in accordance with the aforementioned principles.
In particular, the Policy has been updated to integrate:

  • the existing regulation in the Code of Ethics in relation to the prohibition of gifts;
  • the implementation of the Continuous Audit model in Internal Audit activities;
  • the issuance of a new Organisational Procedure aims to define the criteria and methods adopted for identifying company personnel and delineating their responsibilities in safety management processes within the scope of Title I of Legislative Decree 81/08;
  • the Operational Instruction on supplier qualification was updated and the Vendor Rating process was introduced;
  • the application software for reporting all activities related to the Public Administration was successfully implemented;
  • the introduction of the “Incident Response Plan” as part of our cybersecurity policies and procedures is aimed at addressing potential cybersecurity incidents effectively.
